We want to make sure that you feel that you’ve made the best choice in selecting our studio for your photography needs. To make you even more comfortable with our studio, we have compiled this list of studio policies. Out of fairness to both our clients and our studio, we apply these policies to all of our sessions.




STUDIO HOURS: Our regular business hours are Tuesday through Friday from 9:00am to 2:30pm. We are also available after hours and on weekends by appointment. Because of appointments, client meetings, and photography sessions outside the studio, there will be times that our studio will be closed during regular business hours.

STUDIO APPOINTMENTS:  All clients and potential clients are encouraged to contact our studio first before visiting to ensure that someone is available to meet with you.




ALL studio announcements (such as studio events, specials/sales, and partial or full day closings) will be made through our studio’s Facebook Page, which can be found HERE. Please LIKE and FOLLOW our page to keep up with our announcements.




Your session fee is due on the day of your session. Our studio currently does not require a deposit to hold your session appointment.  All session fees can be viewed HERE.

PHOTO & RECORDING DEVICES: We request that you, and all those in your party, please refrain from using personal cameras, cell phone cameras, or any other photographic or recording devices during your session. The use of these devices can be distracting to the individual(s) that are being photographed as well as to the photographer.

MODEL RELEASE: Please be prepared to sign our studio model release form before your session. This model release allows our studio to show our work to other potential clients so that our business can grow. By booking a session with our studio, you are granting us permission to use and publish your images, at our discretion, for promotion, advertising, or any other like purpose. We fully understand and respect that some clients might want to remain anonymous, so please contact our studio prior to your session if you have any questions or issues regarding the model release form. Your images will never be used on our website, in our studio, or anywhere else without your permission.

PRIVACY: Our studio is committed to your privacy. Information collected from clients in person, over the phone, or through e-mailed or online communication will be kept strictly confidential. We will not sell or exchange names or any other personally identifiable information about our clients with third parties, and work to ensure that your personal information remains secure at all times.




IF YOU NEED TO CANCEL/RESCHEDULE YOUR SESSION: We understand that unexpected things can come up at a moment’s notice which may force you to cancel or reschedule your session. Our studio does NOT currently charge a cancellation fee, but we do ask that you contact our studio as soon as possible (preferably at least least 48 hours prior to your session) so that we can be made aware of your need to cancel or reschedule. We will be glad to help you schedule another date/time for your session that is more convenient for you and our studio.

UNDESIRABLE WEATHER CONDITIONS: Sometimes Mother Nature doesn't always check our location session schedule! If it's raining or has been raining on the day of your session and the ground has become wet and muddy, we will contact you a few hours before your session is scheduled and ask how you would like to proceed. We can either photograph your entire session in our studio or reschedule your location session for another day.




PLACING AN ORDER: Payment must be made in full upon placing an order with our studio. If you have purchased custom designed work from our studio, such as cards and collages, we will NOT process your order until we have received your final written design approval. Due to the custom nature of our work, all sales are final.

PAYMENT TYPES: We accept all major credit cards, checks and cash at our studio and on location. If you are paying with cash, please have exact change. Checks must clear our financial institution before any order can be placed. A 9.25% IL state sales tax will be added to all orders (excluding session fees).

PAYMENT PLANS: If your print or product order is over $300.00, or you have chosen to order one of our top tier Senior or Baby Packages, please ask about our available payment plan options.

A $30.00 fee will be applied for any returned checks or declined credit cards. Please contact us for further details if needed.




These exclusions apply to all promotions, discounts and package discounts offered by Lori A. Seals Photography & Boutique.

Lori A. Seals Photography & Boutique holds the original copyright to all digital and print images that are produced by our studio and are protected under The Copyright Law Act 17 U.S.C. 106. Images, digital or print, may not be manipulated in any form without express written consent from Lori A. Seals Photography & Boutique. Clients who purchase digital images through CDs, USB Drives or Digital Download agree to all terms and conditions found in their respective print release forms.

The Copyright Law in full protects photographers by giving us the exclusive right to manipulate and reproduce your photographs. Violations include, but are not limited to, making illegal copies, scanning, cutting and pasting, taking screengrabs, snapping pictures of your images with your cell phone, etc. It is illegal to copy or reproduce these photographs in any manner without our studio’s permission. Violators of this Federal Law will be subject to its civil and criminal penalties. Please understand, Lori A. Seals Photography & Boutique wishes to maintain complete control over the print quality, finishes, and presentation of the images, and any reproduction outside of our studio may lower the quality of the image and damage our reputation for providing superior portraits.
